Bruce Claugus and Clyde Mitchell experience in the areas of banking and investment litigation and arbitration is extensive. We have represented domestic banks in the defense of class actions and claims involving the SEQ CHAPTER \h \r 1 Fair Housing Act, the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, the Truth in Lending Act, and the Fair Credit Reporting Act, among others. We also have represented domestic and international banks against charges of money laundering, racketeering, commercial bribery, and predatory lending practices.
Our Banking and Investment litigation practice also includes the prosecution and arbitration of claims against banking and trading institutions in matters involving investment suitability, negligence in the execution of trades, failure to exercise fiduciary duties, and breaches of account agreements.
